Job Description

I. University OverviewMalone strives to provide an education that produces graduates with a love of truth and a vibrant, mature faith. Our intent is that students attain the wisdom, knowledge, and skills necessary to serve, engage, and transform the communities in which they live and work. To this end, we provide the curricular and co-curricular context in which to pursue the following educational goals: Understand and critically engage those bodies of knowledge and cultural influences that have shaped the world; Understand the biblical, historical, and theological foundations of the Christian faith; Think critically and creatively and communicate effectively in multiple contexts; Attain expertise in at least one profession or academic discipline and lay the foundation for meaningful work or further studies at the graduate level; and explore the implications of the Christian faith for all areas of living, including intellectual, spiritual, and community pursuits.

II. Job SummaryThe position is responsible for leading recruitment and enrollment efforts for traditional and non-traditional undergraduate students. This role provides strategic direction, manages the admissions tram, and partners with university leadership to achieve enrollment goals and strengthen Malones visibility.

IV. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesServes as an institutional expert in admissions, recruitment, and financial aidCollaborates with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic recruitment plans, set and assess recruitment goals, and analyze market trends and financial strategiesLeads, supervises, and mentors the undergraduate admissions team; facilitates staff development, goal setting, and ongoing process improvementManages a small recruitment territory, engages with prospective students and families, and ensures compliance with NCAA and conference regulationsWorks closely with Financial Aid and University Relations to develop Student Aid strategies and execute enrollment-focused marketing and communication plansStays informed on enrollment trends and policy changesLeads admissions planning retreatsEstablished measurable goals and objectives for the undergraduate admissions teamPartners with University Relations to design and execute a comprehensive marketing plan focused on long-term enrollment growth and university positioningCreates and coordinates content for email campaigns in collaboration with the Vice President for Enrollment & Marketing and the Director of Enrollment Operations, ensuring effective outreach and engagement of prospective studentsOther duties assignedV. Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesDeep knowledge of higher education recruitment, admissions, financial aid strategies, and NCAA complianceStrong understanding of enrollment trends at national, international, and regional levelsSkilled in strategic planning, data analysis, and goal setting to drive enrollment growthProven leadership in team management, mentoring, and cross-development collaborationExcellent written and verbal communication skills, problem solving, and relationship building abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; familiar with CRM and admissions systemsExperienced in digital marketing and content creation for student engagementAbility to align departmental efforts with institutional mission and navigate complex policy issuesHighly organized, adaptable, and discreet with sensitive informationValid drivers license and flexible availability for regional travel, evenings, and weekendsVI. Education and ExperienceBachelors degree required; masters degree preferred.5 to 7 years of relevant experience in admissions, recruitment, or related field.

VI. Working Conditions / Physical DemandsPrimarily based in an office setting with regular use of computers and standard office equipmentFrequent regional travel to attend recruitment events, high school visits, and college fairsOccasional overnight travel requiredMust be available to work evenings and weekends, particularly during peak recruitment seasons and special events
