Teaching fellows comprise a cohort of passionate and knowledgeable educators interested in launching their careers at a leading independent school. Fellows are welcomed into a rich, robust learning and teaching environment designed for ambitious and creative educators to inspire curious, high-achieving students. Fellows are paired with experienced teachers, who serve as mentors and gradually provide opportunities for the fellow to lead the learning in the classroom. Fellows are expected to coach and/or lead co-curricular activities. Cincinnati Country Day School's Teaching Fellows Program affords aspiring teachers the space and place to learn their craft while contributing to a thriving learning environment at a premier educational institution. The Teaching Fellow position is a one-year commitment. Employment will begin on August 12, 2026. Job Responsibilities Co-teach multiple sections of a subject area with an experienced teacher Coach and/or lead multiple co-curricular activities Participate in various after-school community events Meet all expectations set forth by the Teaching Fellows Program Engage in the Teaching Fellows Program curriculum Connect with a mentor through regular meetings Join the new teacher orientation Engage in continual learning opportunities Required Qualifications Strong desire to work with children/teenagers High academic achievement in undergraduate and/or graduate studies Strong desire to coach and/or lead co-curricular activities Possess an innovative thinking disposition Bachelor's degree in subject area or related field Successful background and reference checks Preferred Qualifications Industry or professional experience Interest in experiential education Cross-cultural experience Compensation Competitive salary and benefits, commensurate with an early career educator Housing allowance or tuition reimbursement To Apply Submit your resume, cover letter, statement of philosophy, and three letters of recommendation to Al Beauchamp, director of academic affairs, at . The director of athletics reports to the head of school and is responsible for developing and implementing the athletic program for the upper, middle and sower school divisions. This is a full-time position, that requires nights and weekends. Cincinnati Country Day School athletics has a tradition of excellence within the city of Cincinnati and the state of Ohio, the director of athletics must maintain this tradition while aligning the program with the school's mission. Duties and Responsibilities Develop an athletics strategy to align the program with the school's mission CCDS is a high-level college preparatory school. Student education is at the heart of the CCDS mission, and as a co-curricular program, student education is at the heart of CCDS athletics. Hire, evaluate, and develop the coaching staff Effectively on-board new coaches to Country Day to align with the school's mission and values Meet regularly with coaches to discuss performance and team goals Provide regular opportunities for professional development of coaches Maintain the athletics department budget Oversee the athletics department staff The athletics department staff consists of two associate directors, a sports information director, a director of sport performance, and an athletic trainer Ensure abiding by all OHSAA rules and regulations Represent the school at all league, district, regional, and state meetings Maintain athletics equipment inventory Address athlete and parent concerns Work with the CCDS admissions team to attract and admit scholar-athletes Work with the head of school to develop strategies for new athletics facilities Attributes and Skills Excellent written and oral communication skills The director of athletics regularly has to speak in front of large groups of people The director of athletics must write articles for the Country Day athletics website Extensive knowledge of the wide range of sports offerings at CCDS High energy, high enthusiasm personality that can build community Able to work well with colleagues Experience in athlete training and physical conditioning Marketing of the athletics program and its student-athlete
Physical Conditions :
Ability to walk to various facilities on a large campus as well as lift and maneuver athletics equipment and materials. This is a year-round position, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable in all weather conditions.
