Job Description

Position Summary:
The Online Faculty Support Specialist (FSS) provides day-to-day support of the online general education and allied health faculty teaching in hybrid programs (referred to as "online faculty" throughout this document). The FSS, under the supervision of the Director of Online Faculty Support (DOFS), provides online faculty with the information and guidance needed to ensure EA policies and standards are upheld. Such support will help to develop faculty in their instructional delivery and effectiveness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Classroom Monitoring and Outreach Faculty Coaching/Development Processes and Compliance General Maintains strong, collaborative, and professional relationships with team members, faculty, and key stakeholders related to hybrid programs. Comply with EA academic policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Competencies/Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in online instruction in higher education, preferably in a career-focused setting A minimum of a Master's degree is required. An official transcript from all higher education institutions is required. Professional verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail Effective problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and within a team Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, a Learning Management System such as Canvas, and a Student Information System such as CampusVue
