Job Description

This position is responsible for assisting the Senior Vice President for Student Affairs and Strategic Enrollment in providing leadership and outstanding services that enhance the educational opportunities afforded to students at Oklahoma City Community College. Reports To Senior Vice President for Student Affairs and Strategic Enrollment Management What position(s) reports to this position? Director of Recreation & Wellness Services Director of Student Life Director of Student Accessibility and Support Director of TRiO Programs Director of the Center for Excellence of Veteran Student Success Minimum Education/Experience Master's degree Minimum (5) years' full-time experience in student affairs management and administration in an institution of higher education

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
The work is light work which requires the person in this position to occasionally exert up to 20 pounds of force to grasp, lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required: This position requires the person to frequently move about the OCCC campus. This position requires the person to frequently communicate with and listen to administration, faculty, staff, students, and others to perform the essential functions of the position; must be able to exchange accurate information in various situations. This position requires the person to frequently remain in a standing and stationary position. This position requires the person to frequently operate a computer, other office machinery, and mobile devices to perform the essential functions of the position. This position requires the person to frequently operate equipment that involves repetitive motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. This position requires the person to frequently position self to access, move, lift, push, pull, work on, or operate equipment or materials and/or to assist students. This position requires the person to frequently position self to access materials that may be above head or at ground level. This position requires the person to use upper and lower body to exert force up to 20 pounds to grasp, push, pull, or lift materials or equipment. This position requires the person to perceive attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips. This position requires the person to judge, observe, and assess the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations. Work is performed in an indoor, office setting. Work is performed during office hours; frequent evenings and weekends are required. Preferred Qualifications Doctorate Minimum (5) years' full-time work experience in student affairs management and administration preferably at a senior level with experience in student affairs within a two-year college setting Required Training Annual Campus Security Authority (CSA) Training Quarterly compliance training as assigned by institution Work Hours Monday through Friday; 8:00am -5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm.
