Aortic stenosis impacts millions of people globally, yet it often remains under-diagnosed and undertreated. Edwards' groundbreaking work in transcatheter aortic heart valve replacement (TAVR) pioneered an innovative, life-changing solution for patients by offering heart valve replacement without the need for open heart surgery. Our Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) business unit continues to partner with cardiologists and clinical teams to transform patient care with devices supported by clinical evidence. In this role you will be part of the strategy and execution of therapy development Initiatives for THV (Transcatheter Heart Valves) including OPE (Outreach and Physician Education) speaker programs. The primary objective of the OPE Manager is to execute Transcatheter Heart Valve's (THV's) vision to ensure the availability of TAVR to all patients that are in need and meet the requirements for treatment. The Outreach Physician Education Manager will support the Provider Engagement and Strategic Sales Programs Team with an emphasis on providing expertise in the development and execution of programs to drive adoption of TAVR.
- How you will make an impact:
- + Oversee the execution and development of outreach and physician education programs and assist with Therapy Development program oversight to support the education of severe aortic stenosis and TAVR + Manage systems and programs required for Outreach Programs and Therapy Development program using Salesforce, Excel, and Microsoft tools to track and approve requests + Work closely with healthcare providers on field-based outreach programs + Identify market needs and national objectives to shape educational programs by defining learning goals, agendas, speaker guidance, and facilitation.
- What you will need (Required):
- + Bachelor's Degree in related field and 8 years of previous related experience or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria
