Job Description

ADMISSIONS REPRESENTATIVE - NORTHWEST COLLEGE SCHOOL OF BEAUTY
Northwest College is seeking an engaging, customer-oriented Admissions Representative to recruit new students and serve as a liaison throughout the enrollment process. SUMMARY The qualified candidate will have excellent customer service and sales skills with a high level of professionalism. Admissions Representatives must be experienced with inside sales calls and e-mail leads, and comfortable meeting with and selling Northwest College programs to prospective students, and generating leads through personal selling, school and community outreach, and campus tours. The Admissions Representative facilitates the new student recruitment process which may include pre-screening, contract generation and enrollment procedures. This position interacts at all levels at the campus to ensure new students receive the level of customer service required by Northwest College. This position will cover the Clackamas campus and is scheduled for Monday through Friday from 9:30am to 6:00pm and occasional Saturdays.
ADMISSIONS REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
Recruit new students to achieve budgeted enrollment and revenue goals set by the school which includes meeting expected conversion goals for each class start. Counsels and advises new and continuing students and families about educational opportunities, admissions, financial assistance and school mission, history, curriculum, courses, academic policies and staff. Participates in school visitations and college programs for prospective freshman, coordinates on-site admissions if necessary and represents the school in its recruitment efforts and in providing special outreach services in the community and state. Implements a plan and acts as a liaison to reach various constituencies including students, parents, external schools officials, staff, academic departments, colleges and alumni to generate new leads and facilitate the school's overall admissions, placement and staff recruitment efforts. Maintains and develops relationship with new and continuing students including: following up and a soliciting feedback from students on progress, encouraging enrollment, assisting in course selection, counseling activities and student requests for various forms and other materials. Participates in various state and regional professional organizations applicable to the industry, attends admissions and staff meetings as required. Generate and submit a variety of reports relating to admissions and enrollment from various programs. Retain ongoing knowledge of the hair, esthetics and nail technologies and keep up-to-date on the current status and trends of the industry through trade publications, networking and associations. Perform other duties as assigned and/or as delegated. Travel to and from campus locations required periodically.

ADMISSIONS REPRESENTATIVE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years of direct sales experience, phone sales or equivalent relevant experience and training or; Equivalent combination of education and experience
