Principal and Regional Advancement Director Position Overview:
The Advancement & Admissions Director serves as the strategic leader for enrollment growth, family retention, marketing, and advancement efforts in support of the mission of Catholic education. This individual is responsible for building and sustaining a strong enrollment stream while fostering meaningful relationships with prospective and current families, donors, and alumni. Working closely with the Principal and regional leadership, the Director develops and executes a comprehensive advancement strategy that integrates recruitment, retention, communications, and advancement to ensure long-term vitality and sustainability of the school. Primary ResponsibilitiesEnrollment & Admissions (Recruitment + Retention) Develop and execute a comprehensive, year-round enrollment strategy focused on both student recruitment and family retention. Serve as the primary point of contact and ambassador to prospective families, ensuring a personalized, welcoming experience.Oversee the full admissions lifecycle:
inquiry, follow-up, tours, application, and enrollment. Build and manage a prospective family database, including tracking, communication cadence, and conversion metrics. Plan and lead open houses, school tours, and recruitment events. Partner with the Principal to set, monitor, and achieve enrollment and retention goals. Implement and support retention initiatives, including re-enrollment strategies, family engagement, and feedback analysis. Advancement & Fundraising Develop and implement the school's annual advancement plan aligned with enrollment and sustainability goals. Coordinate and support fundraising initiatives, including campaigns, events, and donor engagement. Collaborate with fundraising chairs and volunteers while ensuring clear tracking and accountability systems. Identify and cultivate relationships with donors, alumni, and community partners. Support alumni engagement efforts by sharing meaningful school stories and creating opportunities for former students and families to reconnect and support the school. Marketing & Communications Oversee and execute a strategic marketing plan that supports enrollment growth and retention. Manage the school's website, social media, and digital presence, ensuring consistent, mission-centered messaging. Ensure brand consistency across all platforms, aligned with regional guidelines. Develop and oversee content creation, including newsletters, promotional materials, and storytelling that highlights school impact. Promote school events, student achievements, faith formation, and academics. Community Engagement & Leadership Serve as a visible and active presence at school events Strengthen relationships with the local community and feeder networks Foster a welcoming, engaged culture that inspires families to serve as school ambassadors. Coordinate communications with host and regional parishes to expand awareness and outreach. EITC Program Facilitation & Donor Outreach Execute school-level EITC efforts using diocesan-provided marketing materials, timelines, and processes. Serve as the on-site lead for EITC awareness and education, clearly communicating the opportunity to individuals and businesses. Identify and engage new EITC prospects beyond current school families, including local businesses, parish connections, and community partners.
