The Deputy Director of Admissions aids in the recruitment of undergraduate students and leadership of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. The Deputy Director will direct the forward-facing operations of the office which include visitor experiences and CRM management. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills and a commitment to working in a team environment.
Responsibilities include:
Engage the leadership team in discussions of strategic planning of recruitment initiatives Assume a leadership role with the admissions Slate CRM planning Coordinate overall daily management of Slate CRM Support Slate CRM training through office retreats and sessions. This includes the creation of applicable training manuals Manage SLATE usage with campus partners Coordinate the management of the student ambassador program Provide training to new staff Serve as project lead for Office of Admissions initiatives Supervise four Assistant Directors and a Senior Associate Director Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective students and families, high school partners, and community organizations Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree Five (5) years of professional student admission work experience in a higher education setting Four (4) years of experience managingSLATE CRM
system Experience managing professional staff Possesses a valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated experience developing recruitment strategies; and/or Demonstrated experience using data driven analytics in admissions; and/or Experience with application review and making admissions decisions; and/or Experience managing student workers Special Instructions Ask about opportunities to work from home and alternate work schedules.
