Job Summary:
Reporting to the assigned department leader, this role is responsible for providing high level coordination of work, programs, or major processes focused on student support. The position offers daily management of assigned tasks and contributes to campus initiatives related to institutional and department priorities. This position is expected to have a high level of department-specific knowledge.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Performance Requirements• ? Assists the Vice President of Student Affairs with creative designing and planning of special projects and events ? Supports assigned tasks related to marketing, student tracking, data collection, and report generating. ? Supports student recruitment, retention, and completion initiatives and creates presentations and reports as assigned ? Fosters relationships among Student Affairs and Academic Affairs, and district offices ? Partners with internal departments to streamline communication ? Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns, including those of a sensitive of confidential nature or related to Texas Drop 6 requirements, and determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response ? Prioritizing conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures ? Facilitates cross-divisional coordination and outreach to ensure the supported area has timely and accurate information regarding activities, events, initiatives, and appointments ? Conveys information to internal and external partners in a comprehensive, accurate, and effective manner ? May supervise others as assigned or required Service Excellence ? Participates on behalf of the College in external community organizations and associations ? Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite ? Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through the Tarrant County College (TCC) Institute ? Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College Supervision ? Works under periodic supervision of assigned campus leadership •Performs Other Related Tasks as Required The duties listed are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. ? Bachelor's degree and five (5) years' working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements; or any equivalent combination of education and work-related experiencePreferred Qualifications:
? Master?s degree ? At least one (1) year?s working experience working in a college or university setting related to the Essential Performance Requirements ? At least one (1) year?s working experience in strategic planning, project implementation, and initiative assessment and evaluation ? At least one (1) year?s working experience in Strategic Enrollment Management Plan ? At least one (1) year?s working experience in and online Student Affairs environment, including delivery of virtual student services, communication, and engagement initiatives ? At least one (1) year?s working experience using Excel, Power BI, or similar platform to analyze and interpret data to support decision-making ? At least one (1) year?s working experience managing or monitoring budgets, including expense tracking, reporting, and ensuring alignment with departmental goalsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
? Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal relationships ? Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment ? Ability to think critically to effectively solve and communicate problems in a fast-paced environment where the demands for work are varied, and unpredictable in scope and volume ? Ability to use computer applications and enterprise systems, including proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation softwarePhysical Demands and Work Environment:
