Credentialing & Administrative Specialist Resurgence Counseling Center, LLC - 4.7 Lexington, KY Job Details Part-time From $18 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Medical insurance coverage verification Provider enrollment for medical credentialing Filing English Microsoft Office Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Medical administrative support Insurance medical billing Attention to detail Associate's degree Full Job Description Part-time Credentialing Specialist Resurgence Counseling Center is seeking a part-time credentialing specialist to work under the direction of the Owner or Clinic Director. The Credentialing Specialist would work up to 18 hours per week, Monday- Friday, performing credentialing and administrative duties in an expanding group private practice. As we continue to grow so would the potential to increase hours worked.
Primary Responsibilities:
Complete and maintain clinician's credentialing for insurance contracts Welcome new clinicians and gather needed documents and information for credentialing prior to their first day Assist in organizing clinician's licensure information Complete any contracting or credentialing tasks in a timely manner Assist in resolving collection matters as they relate to credentialing or contracting Other tasks as needed and within the scope of ability of the employee
Secondary or Backup Responsibilities:
Help manage intake calls (answer phone and email, schedule intake appointments with the appropriate therapist, answer potential client questions) Return all phone calls or emails within the same business day Communicate with clinicians regarding scheduling Keep EHR client files organized and manage intake paperwork collection Create a welcoming experience for new clients to receive information about therapy
Qualifications and Skills:
Organized and detail-oriented One year of experience with credentialing and insurance-related activities Working knowledge of credentialing both commercial, EAP, and medicaid based plans for Kentucky Must be able to read and write in English Must have knowledge of insurance verification and billing Able to work as a team Able to work independently on tasks assigned Good communication skills Connects with practice's mission and values The ideal candidate would have experience working in a mental health-related field Preferred education of associate or higher This position is not fully remote and requires some travel to one of the locations regularly. The hours available will increase as the practice continues to expand. Pay is based on experience and education. Offer of employment is contingent upon a successful background check and drug screen.
