Job Description

Gilda's Club Wisconsin is seeking a compassionate, strategic, and mission-driven mental health leader to guide and grow our cancer support programming across Wisconsin. This leadership role is an opportunity to shape the future of free psychosocial cancer support services while leading a team dedicated to ensuring no one faces cancer alone. The Program Director oversees program operations, clinical oversight, staff leadership, program innovation, and community partnerships while serving as a key ambassador for Gilda's Club Wisconsin. The ideal candidate must be a licensed mental health professional in Wisconsin with strong clinical expertise, program leadership experience, and a passion for building meaningful connections with people impacted by cancer. This individual will provide some direct programming, supervise program staff and facilitators, strengthen partnerships with healthcare and nonprofit organizations, help expand statewide reach, and ensure our services continue to evolve to meet community needs.
Qualifications include:
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field Current Wisconsin professional MH licensure required Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience, including program management and supervision Experience in program development, evaluation, training, and community partnership building Group facilitation and clinical experience strongly preferred Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging Passion for mission-driven work and supporting individuals and families impacted by cancer Salary range for this full-time exempt position starts at $76,000-$82,000 annually. This role includes occasional hours in the evening and on weekends, as well as periodic travel outside of Dane County. Health, dental, vision, 401(k), generous PTO, and holidays are available.
