Job Description

The part-time Training and Programming Coordinator supports programs and initiatives that enhance employee/community engagement and learning & development. Responsibilities include coordinating educational programs and events, as well as planning and executing annual programs, special events, and ad hoc activities. This position is part-time and up to 19 hours/week.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordination of engagement events including onboarding, managers' training, recognition events, and other initiatives in support of the division Provide direct support to division leadership in the planning and implementation of office initiatives and special projects. Collaborate with campus partners to advance inclusive programming and engagement efforts. Perform other duties as assigned.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
This position is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in community engagement and/or employee training and learning Proficiency in office administration and coordination of general office functions, including strong skills in Microsoft Word, Forms, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong professional writing skills. Strong verbal communication skills. Ability to work constructively under deadlines and with complex subject matter.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong interpersonal skills, Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in managing interpersonal interactions, administrative details, and confidential information.
