Job Description

Description :
Oversees all transfer articulation functions at Lander University. Advises and counsels students regarding the posting of credits. Works closely with University Deans to acquire articulations for new transfer courses. Works closely with Admissions staff on the receipt of academic transcripts for new students; Financial Aid staff regarding discrepancies with transfer credit; and the Associate Registrar for degree audit accuracy.
Minimum Requirements:
A bachelor's degree and working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office products, including word and excel. Experience in higher education, registrar services, admissions, or academic advising. Familiarity with Banner. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required.
Preferred Requirements :
Strong knowledge of transfer credit evaluation and articulation processes.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have ability to understand University policy and demonstrate professional standards. Strong oral and written communication skills required. Must be able to identify priorities and demonstrate ability to accomplish goals and meet deadlines. Must have ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, administration, staff, students, parents, and the public.
Hire Range:
$40,000•$44,000
University Hours:
8:00am•5:00pm, Monday•
Friday Position Work Hours:
37.5 hours per week.
