Job Description
Referral Specialist position in Castroville, TX Process patient referrals for MedCare Associates and assist other clinics when needed Coordinate workload of referrals for entire clinic Assist patient with finding resources that accept various insurances Handle prior authorizations for patients with HMO insurance Resolve any challenges or obstacles that may arise during the referral process Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent customer service skills when working with patients and specialty services Minimum requirement of two year work experience with referrals Experience with eClinicalWorks is preferred Additional incentive pay offered to cross-train to front office position
