- Texas (2026-2027) All Great Hearts Academies offer a robust program of athletics as a part of their commitment to the idea that participation in athletics is co-curricular and all Great Hearts students would benefit from the development of habits and virtue that comes as students are guided toward competitive greatness. The team sports offered at Great Hearts Academies include the following (not all campuses will field all sports):

All Athletic Directors will have access to your application and will contact you should a position arise that might fit your qualifications.

HIRING PROCESS

Great Hearts hires seasonal athletic coaches on a rolling basis. Athletic Directors at each academy are largely autonomous in the hiring processes for their campuses. They discern for themselves the candidates of interest, and contact, interview, and make offers to those candidates per their own hiring timetables. Candidates may hear from one or more Athletic Directors and/or Great Hearts staff member(s) shortly after submitting their application, or they may not hear anything for a number of months.
