Job Description

Position Overview:
Liberty Hill Youth Soccer Association is seeking a passionate Academy Director to lead our Division 4 (D4), Junior Academy, and Academy programs. This role oversees player development, supports coaches, and ensures a positive experience for players and families. This is a full-time, 1099-contract position beginning in May'26 and running through April'27. This position takes priority over any team coaching responsibilities.

Liberty United, the club's competitive program, is focused on developing players in a fun, structured, and development-first environment that builds skill, confidence, and character.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee D4, Junior Academy, and Academy programs Implement player development curriculum and club philosophy Identify and evaluate players for advancement Manage D4 program setup, coaches, and communication Attend Academy trainings (Mon-Thu evenings) and weekend games Support tryouts, camps, tournaments, and club events Assist with scheduling, team formation, and program operations Utilize club systems (GotSport, Google Drive, etc.)
Coaching:
Option to coach up to 2 teams (secondary to Director duties)
Qualifications:
US Soccer "C" License preferred (or willingness to obtain) Youth coaching and player development experience Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple teams and schedules
Preferred:
Competitive playing or coaching background Experience in club leadership or administration
Compensation & Benefits:
$30,000/year (12-month contract) Travel reimbursement (over 60 miles) Coaching education support Opportunity to lead and grow a full player development pathway
