230 days per year. At-Will employment agreement. Salary is in the pay grade N07 on the Non- Exempt SAISD Compensation Plan. Entry hourly is at $17.75 with consideration for directly related experience.FLSA Classification:

This position is locally funded Position Summary Ensure accuracy of student registration process by maintaining student data records at the campus level and processing student enrollments, transfers, and withdrawals. Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities 1. Assist students, teachers, administrators, and parents with registration process as needed. 2. Receive incoming calls, answer questions, and serve as a resource for registration and procedures. 3. Greet visitors/staff with professionalism and courtesy. 4. Coordinate workflow and task completion within the registrar office. 5. Evaluate and prepare routine transcripts for new and transfer students to determine appropriate and equivalent awarding of credits and grade placement. 6. Communicate with district departments to clarify course titles, program structures, grading scales, and scheduling models that affect the awarding of credits. 7. Enter statistical data for new and transfer students; retrieve statistical data from student's file as requested/required. 8. Maintain log of all student enrollment and withdrawals. 9. Receive, log and send transcripts or other school records as needed. 10. Collaborate with counselor staff to determine appropriate transcript evaluation of non-routine entries (out-of-state, out-of-country, private school, home school). 11. Organize and prepare materials/reports for school distribution. 12. Assist with graduation and summer registration processes. 13. Participate in district and campus staff development programs that improve job related skills. 14. Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent or higher (recognized by the Texas Education Agency or a regional accrediting agency) 3+ years' experience in routine office procedures to include customer service, telephone etiquette, efficient and effective filing and record keeping procedures. • Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check. Non-refundable fee (approximately $50.00) paid by the employee. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Demonstrated proficiency in general office management and procedures. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and high level of integrity regarding student records, employment records and campus issues. Must be self-motivated, possess the ability to work under pressure, able to handle multiple tasks and work collaboratively. Possess the ability to provide leadership with student registration processes. Keep informed of and comply with state, district and school regulations regarding admissions, registration, withdrawal, guardianship, transfers, graduation requirements, UIL guidelines, PEIMS coding and District retention, promotion and reclassification policies and procedures.Demonstrate the following core values:

Maintain emotional control under stress; work with frequent interruptions/deadlines; frequent sitting, standing, walking, climbing, balancing, pulling and pushing; reaching, repetitive hand motions, hearing, speaking clearly, visual acuity and prolonged data input; occasional lift/carry light, moderate 15-44 pounds.
