Open Until Filled Job Description Job Summary The Senior Program Manager is responsible for ongoing management of the UTHSCT Child Psychiatry Access Network (CPAN) and the Perinatal Psychiatry Access Network (PeriPAN) under the Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium. CPAN provides psychiatric and behavioral health consultation to pediatricians and primary care providers. PeriPAN provides psychiatric and behavioral health consultation to OBGYNs and all providers serving pregnant and postpartum women in the same region. Both programs serve a 25-county area. This position must build strong relationships with multiple providers across the region. Clinical experience is strongly preferred. This position reports directly to the Executive Director, Dept. of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at UTHSCT and works closely with other key faculty members and staff. Major Responsibilities/Duties/Critical Tasks Manage the development, operationalization and ongoing administration of the Child Psychiatry Access Network, (CPAN), and Perinatal Psychiatry Access Network (PeriPAN). Responsible for developing expertise related to initiatives under the Texas Children's Mental Health Care Consortium and can interpret, communicate, and coordinate the execution of the project plan as outlined. Working closely with the Program Manager, Outreach & Engagement to develop marketing materials and a communication plan for educating providers. Plan, coordinate, and develop required deliverable reports. Assure that all deliverables are comprehensive, meet project requirements, are professionally written, and accurately reflect the work performed. Submit deliverables on a timely basis. Monitor budgets and expenditures, and coordinate with program staff to identify financial needs and allocate available funds effectively. Organize project meetings and identify follow-up action items. Development and maintenance of collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clinical and administrative staff. Coordinate project activities, including ongoing effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Other duties as assigned. Required Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in related field. Five (5) years' experience with managing contract deliverables. May accept a combination of education and experience. Preferred Education / Experience Graduate or professional degree in psychology, nursing or a related field preferred. Program management experience, 5 to 7 years of experience preferred. Education in psychology, nursing, social work or a related field. Database knowledge. Accompanying Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies Demonstrated knowledge working with deadlines and under pressure and the ability to prioritize tasks. Established ability to work on several projects with overlapping deadlines. Exceptional project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, etc.). Strong technical writing and communication skills required. Strong organizational skills required. Ability to adapt to new technologies and software systems quickly. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
