Dean of Strategic Enrollment Management Salary Negotiable Location Wharton, TX Job Type Administrative Full Time Job Number 2603 A 008 Department Vice President of Access, Completion, and Transfer Opening Date 04/01/2026 Closing Date 4/20/2026 10:00 AM Central Description Benefits Questions General Description The Dean of Strategic Enrollment Management provides executive leadership for the College's enrollment operations and strategic enrollment planning. The position oversees the Offices of Admissions and Registration, Financial Aid, Recruitment, Dual Credit and Transfer Services. The Dean is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the College's Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) Plan, including enrollment forecasting, admissions funnel analysis, recruitment strategy development, and enrollment target attainment. The position ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations governing admissions and registration, financial aid, student records, and reporting while advancing institutional goals related to access, enrollment growth, and student success. The Dean monitors updates to policies and procedures and translates these updates into the operations of the offices they supervise. Requirements This position requires a minimum of a Master's degree in business, technology, data analytics, student services, or a related area. This position requires a minimum of five (5) years of direct, full-time work experience in student records, Financial Aid, or higher education recruitment, with three (3) years of supervisory experience of full-time personnel and budget authority. This position requires the ability to interpret and apply state and federal regulations and develop, implement, and maintain effective policies and procedures related to student onboarding, student records, and testing, and financial aid. This position requires an advanced knowledge of student information systems, with experience with Banner or Ellucian Colleague required. Experience with data management and analysis is preferred as well as working knowledge of contemporary CRM platforms. Demonstrated experience with strategic enrollment management planning, enrollment analytics, and recruitment strategy development is required. Strong written and oral communication skills are required. This position requires the ability to work collaboratively with others to build a positive team atmosphere with a commitment to superior customer service and student support.
