Job Description

Head of Admissions, Alpha - $200,000/year USD Crossover - 3.3 Seattle, WA Job Details Full-time 4 hours ago Qualifications Client onboarding Admissions and enrollment management Client management Working with families Full Job Description Most admissions positions are designed to maximize volume. This position exists to safeguard quality. Alpha is constructing one of the most forward-thinking school models globally. Our locations integrate demanding academics, technology-enabled instruction, and elevated expectations for both learners and educators. Students routinely progress faster than national averages, supported by measurable outcomes. Afternoons are dedicated to deeper exploration, self-directed learning, and practical competency development. The model is effective. However, its success depends on enrolling the appropriate families. This is your responsibility. You will lead the complete enrollment process for a campus, beginning with initial inquiry and concluding with onboarding. This is not a role characterized by handoffs. You determine how families perceive us, how thoroughly they grasp the model, and whether enrollment decisions reflect genuine alignment. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and recommend rejection when warranted. The objective is not enrollment maximization. The objective is strategic fit. We welcome applicants from premium client service backgrounds outside conventional education: selective independent schools, competitive programs, high-end hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership organizations, or founder-operators who have directly managed complex, high-value client experiences from start to finish. What counts is your capacity to orchestrate a detailed, multi-phase process with sound judgment, transparent communication, and consistent execution. If your professional background centers on delivering exceptional service where credibility, confidentiality, and experiential excellence define reputation, this opportunity will resonate—applied here to work that produces measurable impact. This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position. We are recruiting in Seattle and Park City. Support for relocation is provided. What you will be doing Leading the end-to-end enrollment experience for prospective families, starting with initial outreach and extending through onboarding completion. Facilitating discovery conversations to evaluate alignment before offering solutions or outlining subsequent actions. Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across varying stages of enrollment, maintaining transparent tracking and timely follow-up. Guiding campus visits, student shadow days, and enrollment discussions that articulate expected outcomes, requirements, and ideal candidate profiles. Ensuring precise CRM and student information system records (HubSpot and SIS) to enable accurate forecasting, strategic prioritization, and service excellence. What you will NOT be doing Employing transactional or high-pressure enrollment strategies. Accepting families with poor alignment solely to meet numerical targets. Overseeing a sizable team or working through complex organizational hierarchies. Distributing accountability for the family journey across multiple personnel. Operating remotely. This position is intentionally campus-based. Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver a trust-centered, selective enrollment process that attracts aligned families while preserving the quality and effectiveness of the Alpha educational model. Candidate Requirements 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service excellence directly influences organizational reputation (education, high-end hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership organizations, or owner-managed service businesses). Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment experience from initial engagement through final onboarding. Experience managing 20+ simultaneous client, guest, or family interactions across multiple stages, supported by an organized tracking and prioritization approach. Capacity to share specific instances of consultative judgment, including occasions when you advised against your offering due to misalignment. Professional correspondence experience with C-level executives, high-net-worth clients, or discerning clientele. Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these regions: Seattle, WA, or Park City, UT. Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship. Nice to have Background in competitive private school admissions or selective program recruitment. Experience in premium hospitality settings, VIP client services, or executive support capacities. History of developing or optimizing enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service benchmarks. Proficiency leveraging data and CRM analytics to enhance enrollment alignment, not merely velocity.
