Valid AL Department of Education Teacher's Certificate, BS Degree or higher, endorsed in Social Studies grades 6-8, must meet the ESSA (NCLB) Highly Qualified Criteria if applicable, and such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable.
