MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Arizona Elementary Certificate with Middle Grades Social Studies Approved Area AND Provisional or Permanent Gifted Endorsement or willingness to pursue during the 2026-2027 school year OR Arizona Middle Grades Certificate with Middle Grades Social Studies Approved Area AND Provisional or Permanent Gifted Endorsement or willingness to pursue during the 2026-2027 school year OR Arizona Secondary Certificate with Middle Grades Social Studies, Social Studies or History Approved Area AND Provisional or Permanent Gifted Endorsement or willingness to pursue during the 2026-2027 school year Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO START DATE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

FTE :
1.0 - 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar:
9.5 month Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits. Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position. Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language. For more information on salary schedule, please reference the Employee Agreements Webpage. Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications, Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
