History & English Instructor - Irvine, CA AITE Institute Irvine, CA Job Details Part-time $33 - $50 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications School experience Teaching Certification English Working with middle schoolers Working with students English Full Job Description We are looking for a teacher who can effectively teach English Language Arts and History/Social Studies to elementary, middle school, or high school students in a small-group classroom setting.
Responsibilities:
Teach English reading, writing, grammar, and literature Teach History / Social Studies (U.S. History, World History, Civics, etc.) Prepare lesson materials and adapt instruction based on students' levels Support students with school coursework, writing assignments, and test preparation Create an engaging and positive learning environment Communicate professionally with staff regarding student progress
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required (Education, English, History, or related field preferred) Prior teaching or tutoring experience required Strong English communication and writing skills Ability to teach students from different grade levels Responsible, punctual, and professional Experience with private tutoring, after-school programs, or classroom teaching is a plus Teaching credential is a plus
