2nd Grade Teacher

Clairbourn School, a Junior PreK through eighth grade independent school nestled at the confluence of Pasadena, San Marino, and San Gabriel, is actively seeking a full-time 2nd Grade Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic educator who builds strong relationships with students, works well with colleagues, and actively supports the mission and daily life of the school. They are dependable, energetic, flexible, and willing to contribute to the school community. Contract to begin August 1, 2026. Salary is competitive and is commensurate with education, skills, and experience, with a generous benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, and retirement benefits. Salary range is between $70,000 and $95,000, based on our salary scale.

Qualifications:

BA/BS degree Teaching credential and/or Master's degree preferred Teaching experience of 3 or more years preferred Employment Requirements Test for tuberculosis not more than one year prior to or seven days after employment Documentation of a Department of Justice criminal record clearance or exemption as required by law
