Position Summary RLCA is expanding and seeking an enthusiastic and committed 5th Grade Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is part of our growing 3rd-5th Grade team and is ideal for a passionate educator who desires to teach with both excellence and purpose. Our teachers help students grow academically while guiding them in their faith and character development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong Christian walk, a heart for students, and a team-first mindset. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver engaging instruction aligned with school standards and biblical values Differentiate instruction to meet a range of learning styles and student needs Create a structured, loving, and Christ-centered classroom environment Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and families Collaborate with colleagues and administration in curriculum planning and school-wide initiatives Participate in professional development, team meetings, and school events Serve as a Christ-like role model in word, action, and lifestyle Qualifications A committed follower of Jesus Christ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (required) Teaching certificate (preferred) CPR certification (preferred) Strong leadership, classroom management, and communication skills A passion for teaching children and a love for learning A collaborative spirit and a strong work ethic Fully embraces the mission and core values of Real Life Christian Academy Background Screening Requirement All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a Level 2 background screening , which includes fingerprinting through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Clearinghouse.
