Job Description
Job Summary Panama City Advanced School (PCAS) is seeking passionate and qualified educators in Islamic Studies and Quran for the 2025-26 academic year. PCAS is a Cognia-accredited Muslim private school serving students from preschool through 12th grade. We are committed to nurturing students' academic excellence, spiritual growth, and character development in alignment with Islamic values. These are full-time positions , Monday through Friday, with half-days on Fridays . As a PCAS Islamic Studies and Quran, you will play a vital role in shaping students' understanding of faith and identity.. Your teaching will help students connect with Islamic teachings and establish a strong relationship with the Quran. We are looking for dedicated educators who can foster a love for learning, promote Islamic values, and create meaningful, age-appropriate lessons for students in grades K-12 (grade levels vary by position). Job Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons in your subject area. Incorporate authentic sources (Quran, Hadith, classical texts, modern resources) in instruction. Use diverse instructional methods, including memorization support, discussions, storytelling, technology, and interactive activities. Assess and monitor student progress regularly. Encourage Islamic character and behavior through example and guidance. Collaborate with faculty and administration to support student growth and uphold school values. Maintain open communication with families and participate in school events and activities. Ensure instruction is age-appropriate, inclusive, and rooted in traditional Islamic knowledge Job Skills & Qualifications Prior teaching experience in Islamic Studies and Quran instruction preferred. Strong knowledge of Islamic history, beliefs, practices, and ethics (for Islamic Studies). Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
