Position:
Social Studies Teacher
Location:
North Putnam High School
Qualifications:
Must hold an Indiana teaching license with qualifications to teach Social Studies at high school level Must be highly qualified as mandated by the No Child Left Behind Act Knowledgeable of best practices in Social Studies Ability to differentiate instruction to increase skill levels of all students The candidate must demonstrate effective organization, interpersonal, leadership, verbal, and written skills Uses assessment to guide daily instruction Ability to demonstrate the use of 21st century skills in the classroom
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with other teachers to provide a stimulating teaching and learning environment for students
Salary:
Commensurate with experience
