JGHS - Social Studies

John Glenn High School has an opening for a Social Studies Teacher for the 2026-2027 School Year. This position will primarily teach World History, Government, and Indiana Studies, but, dependent on experience, may help fill other needs in the master schedule.

Qualifications:

Valid Indiana Teaching License Emergency permit may be considered in special circumstances.

Plan curriculum and instruction based on Indiana State Standards and local goals. Instruct through best practices with an emphasis on differentiation, engagement, and technology. Evaluate student performance with both formative and summative assessments. Use data to guide classroom decisions.
