Job Description
Benjamin Franklin High School is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Social Studies Teacher to join our faculty and increase capacity for the 2026-2027 school year. We are open to hiring either a full-time or part-time educator , depending on the candidate's availability and expertise. The successful candidate may teach a combination of: AP Human Geography World Geography Honors U.S. History Honors Application Process Interested candidates should submit an updated resume and cover letter to resumes@bfhsla.org . The cover letter should address the following questions: Describe what attributes you possess that are beneficial to Benjamin Franklin High School. Provide a concrete example of how you have achieved student growth in the last year. Describe the most significant change you have implemented in your pedagogy in the last 1-3 years.
