Aug 13, 2026 Job Description Parker has anticipated openings in its 9th and 10th grade Humanities program. Qualified applicants will have: a degree and/or certification in a history, social science, English, or related field The capacity and interest to teach in an interdisciplinary classroom. Key responsibilities include: designing student-centered curriculum co-teaching in two-hour blocks assessing students using rubrics, portfolios, exhibitions and/or project-based assignments serving as an advisor. Successful applicants will have an understanding of Coalition philosophy and familiarize themselves with Parker through the website before applying (www.theparkerschool.org). SEI endorsement and ML or Special Ed training are preferred. Parker openly seeks to build a diverse school community. Welcome to Francis W. Parker Charter Essential School Parker is a free, charter public school serving 400 students from 40 cities and towns in central Massachusetts.
