Aug 31, 2026 Job Description Winchester High School is seeking a 1.0FTE Social Studies Teacher The preferred candidate will be a student-centered educator who is proficient in the MA state frameworks for the Social Studies curriculum at both the college prep and honors levels. The candidate will have interest, and potentially some experience, in teaching in a co-taught classroom. The candidate should be able to embed social and emotional learning experiences into the daily classroom routine. The candidate should have experience or interest in using/creating performance-based assessments. Must hold a valid DESE Teacher Certification Ideally Masters plus 3 years experience Winchester High School is a comprehensive high school that works to meet the needs of all learners. WHS serves over 1,350 students in grades 9-12. We strive to create a well-developed curriculum that reflects a focus on the whole student as we endeavor to prepare all students to be ready and successful for any path they choose when they leave our halls.
