Teaching Full Job Description Open Position:
Quantum STEAM Academy is now accepting applications for full time 3rd grade Teacher for 2026-2027 school year.
Qualifications:
Valid MN Teaching License is required or in the process to apply for a license. More teaching experience is preferable, but we encourage recent graduates to apply.
Position Description:
This position requires teacher to perform all of the essential functions of a regular classroom teacher including but not limited to planning and delivering instruction, behavior and classroom management, assessment and differentiation, collaboration with team members, communication with parents, students supervision during recess, and participating in some afterschool commitments such as conferences, school picnics, graduation events, and other duties as assigned. Teacher duties include but not limited to: At Quantum Academy, Teachers are responsible for:
  • Providing a safe and cooperative learning environment
  • Identifying the needs of students based on their formal and informal assessments
  • Designing and facilitates differentiated and personalized learning goals and activities that follow a coherent sequence that are aligned to instructional goals
  • Engaging students in high-level cognitive activity
  • Developing an integrated and interdisciplinary work across the adopted curricula.
  • Maintaining a growth mindset toward student learning, teaching practice, and personal/collective professional development
  • Holding themselves accountable for learner outcomes and advocate for their students
  • Believing in the capability of their students and themselves to succeed
  • Being creative in the implementation of data-driven instruction and practice
  • Serving as a role model for their students
  • Collaborating effectively within the school and external communities to increase student performance
  • Demonstrating global competence that positively impacts and connects students' work to their families, local, and global communities
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the administration
  • Showing excellent team work.
