Adjunct Faculty - Applied Behavioral Analysis Webster University - 4.1 St. Louis, MO Job Details Part-time 1 day ago Qualifications Student mentoring Collaborative teaching Full Job Description The Department of Teacher Education is seeking qualified candidates who are enthusiastic about teaching for ongoing part-time adjunct instructor positions in Applied Behavior Analysis. Teaching assignments will vary based on departmental needs. Candidates are expected to perform the following essential duties: Maintain current knowledge of the discipline. Present course material in a clear, organized manner using methodologies appropriate to the discipline-e.g., lecture, demonstration, technology. Explain course expectations clearly to students. Adhere to the requirements of the department's curriculum. Adhere to all university safety policies regarding classroom equipment and materials. Grade assigned papers, examinations, or projects in a timely manner so that students may benefit from the feedback. Provide students with individualized help and consultation to meet students' needs. Meet administrative requirements and deadlines such as those for submitting course syllabi, conducting student course evaluations, and submitting final grades. Use technology as established and communicated by the University to carry out the administrative duties associated with teaching. General qualifications should be appropriate for the level of class being taught, preferably a master's degree or higher in Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or a related field and/or several years' professional experience in a relevant field. The applicant MUST hold BCBA certification or higher. The applicant should have experience and/or training relevant to the content area being taught. A willingness to work collaboratively with faculty, as well as teach and mentor students from a wide range of disciplines, cultures, and academic backgrounds is essential.
