Dakota College at Bottineau is seeking an instructor to teach undergraduate courses in history, humanities, fine arts, and/or related interdisciplinary general education disciplines to students in associate degree and certificate programs. Potential teaching assignments may include history, humanities, art, music, art history, and other arts and humanities coursework, depending on institutional needs and candidate qualifications. This position includes curriculum development, outcomes assessment, institutional committee work, program promotion, distance delivery of coursework, and community service and outreach.QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
Master's degree in History, Humanities, Fine Arts, Art History, Music, or another closely related arts, humanities, or interdisciplinary field. Successful teaching experience at the secondary or college level or equivalent professional experience.QUALIFICATIONS
PREFERRED:
Doctorate degree in any of the disciplines listed above. Graduate course work in another discipline, such as history, humanities, fine arts, art history, music or another closely related discipline. Successful teaching experience at the secondary or community college level. Experience with a Learning Management System.ADDITIONAL
REQUIREMENTS:
Successful applicant will be required to pass a criminal history background investigation prior to employment.SALARY:
$45,000-$48,000. NDUS state benefit package, including 100% full coverage for family health insurance provided.STARTING
