Congregation Sons of Israel, Briarcliff Manor, NY Job Type:
Part-Time Religious School Teacher Congregation Sons of Israel in Briarcliff Manor is a dynamic, innovative, and friendly community. We are looking for creative, energetic teachers for grades 4, 5 and 6. This is a part-time position. Our 3•7 grade classes meet on Sundays 9am•11am, and Tuesdays 4:00-6:00pm.
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of Hebrew Ability to lead and instruct students of different abilities Enthusiastic and fun Professional and collaborative spirit Willingness to be mentored, to grow, and to learn Broad knowledge of Torah, Israel, Mitzvot, Middot, Jewish life cycles, and Holidays Creative flare for bringing Judaic subjects to life by incorporating project-based learning, music and crafts Compensation Our working produce farm, small class sizes, and involved parent body, make teaching here a dream. We are offering competitive salary commensurate with experience. (1day/week $5,000•5,500; 2 days/weekly $10,000•10,500)
