Middle and High School Social Studies Teacher

Summary We are seeking a passionate Middle and High School Social Studies Teacher to join our team at MDQ Academy. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum Align standards to prepare students for Global History NYS Regents Exam. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation. Mentor and guide students in their academic and personal growth. Assess student performance through rigorous evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational experience. Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area; teaching certification required. Experience working with high school students in an educational setting. Strong mentoring skills with a passion for student development. Knowledge of geometry and other relevant subjects is essential.
