The successful candidate will be able to: Plan and implement curriculum in conjunction with the Social Studies department designed to be personalized, engaging, and focused on developing skills and real-world applications. Be open to exploring dual-enrollment and interdisciplinary courses and approaches to teaching and learning. Utilize school and district resources such as instructional/pedagogical coaching to create engaging, future-focused lessons, units, and assessments. Commit to ongoing professional learning and develop and adjust curriculum on an ongoing basis to meet students' needs and interests. Stay current on best and burgeoning pedagogical and curricular practices. Commit to our district's Vision Map that centers on reimagining learning, pursuit of passion, and building a culture of wellness in a future-focused system in an effort to develop "What School Can Be." Plan collaboratively with colleagues and be open to sharing and learning with and from others. Create a personalized learning environment for students that meets individual needs and challenges students to reach their full potential.
