This position is ideal for a seasoned teacher who is passionate about elementary education within a structured, values-based learning environment and committed to fostering both academic excellence and community building. The successful candidate will inspire trust, confidence, and curiosity in students while cultivating a nurturing classroom community that supports intellectual, social, and emotional growth. Serving as a full-year Maternity Leave Head teacher: you will foster intellectual and social development; inspire trust, confidence, and motivation of St. Hilda's and St. Hugh's students. Manage the social environment and foster responsible, independent learners. Develop age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans for implementation within the classroom. Provide an encouraging and supportive learning environment Qualifications Skills and Characteristics Excellent communication skills in all formats including but not limited to written, spoken, in-person, and digitally. Demonstrate the ability to forge relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the community. Consistently demonstrate organizational and technical skills.
