Job Description

Job Summary Archbishop Stepinac High School is an independent Catholic college-preparatory school for boys in grades 6-12, located in White Plains, approximately 25 miles north of Manhattan. Situated in a vibrant and diverse suburban community, Stepinac is recognized for its challenging academic curriculum, extensive service programs, and dedication to developing students intellectually, spiritually, and personally. Archbishop Stepinac High School is seeking a full-time History teacher for grades 9-12. The successful candidate will be a team-oriented educator who inspires student engagement through hands-on, inquiry-driven learning and creates an interactive, student-focused classroom experience.

Salary Range:
commensurate with background and experience; full medical benefits Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate strong content knowledge in History (World History, United States History)
  • Effectively use instructional resources, including technology, to support student learning
  • Collaborate with department members on curriculum development and instructional practices
  • Communicate regularly with students and families, providing timely and meaningful feedback on student progress
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and perform additional duties as needed Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in History
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

$55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
