Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in education ODE Resident Educator License or Permanent Teaching License for Elementary (P-3) Ability to work with diverse groups Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood curricula and practices Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Position Description:
The elementary teacher will demonstrate proficiency in the following areas: Deliver instruction in a manner that allows students to remain on task by utilizing a variety of instructional techniques. Demonstrate appropriate academic planning and organization. Design and employ a variety of objective and consistent assessment techniques to evaluate learning and development. Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction. Establish and maintain effective classroom control. Reinforce appropriate social and academic interventions using constructive methods. Maintain professional interactions with other educational personnel, parents, and the community.
