The Toddler Guide is an integral member of our early childhood program, serving children ages 18 months to 3 years. We are dedicated to authentic Montessori practice and best teaching methods that honor the unique developmental needs of every child. As the Toddler Guide, you will prepare and maintain a beautiful Montessori environment that fosters independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. Working in partnership with your Assistant Guide and the broader school community, you will support each child's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development while cultivating a classroom culture rooted in respect, curiosity, and joyful discovery. The Toddler Guide's foremost responsibility is to provide a safe, healthy, nurturing, and responsive educational environment where each child is known, valued, and supported. Through careful observation and individualized guidance, you will recognize each child's unique developmental needs and create opportunities for purposeful work, movement, language development, and social connection. You will also work collaboratively with your Assistant Guide to support their understanding and implementation of Montessori philosophy and best practices. At our school, collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. Our Guides work alongside a dedicated team of educational professionals who partner to support the whole child. We value strong relationships among faculty, regular communication with families, and a shared commitment to continuous growth and Montessori excellence. Qualifications MACTE-accredited Montessori Toddler credential required. Passion for authentic Montessori education and a commitment to following the child.
