We are seeking an inspiring and innovative Classroom Teachers to join our team of educators committed to empowering students through rigorous instruction, creativity, and care. Position Overview The Classroom Teacher is the key instructional leader responsible for teaching content to their students. This educator will design engaging lessons aligned with Ohio's Learning Standards, cultivate a classroom culture of respect and curiosity, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure every student meets their academic goals. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality instruction aligned with state standards and school outcomes. Develop engaging lesson plans that integrate content with reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills. Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including students with IEPs or 504 plans. Collaborate with fellow teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to design interdisciplinary units of study. Maintain accurate records of student progress and use formative and summative data to inform instruction. Provide regular communication with parents and families regarding student performance, growth, and achievements. Uphold classroom management practices consistent with the school's Positive Behavior framework. Participate in professional development, including summer training and ongoing workshops throughout the year. Contribute to the school community by assisting with assemblies, open houses, extracurricular activities, and school events. Uphold and model the school's mission, vision, and values in all interactions. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred). Valid State of Ohio 4/5 Year Professional or Long-Term Substitute License (Required). At least 2 years of successful teaching experience, preferably in an urban or diverse educational setting. Strong instructional, communication, and classroom management skills. A demonstrated commitment to student-centered learning. Deep belief that all students can learn at high levels and deserve access to rigorous and supportive instruction.
