LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE SECONDARY SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHER
Shenango Area School District is accepting applications for a Long-term Substitute Secondary Social Studies Teacher for the first semester of the 2026/2027 school year. June 26, 2026 The Shenango Area School District is an Equal Rights and Opportunities employer The Shenango Area School District is located in southern Lawrence County, conveniently situated 45 miles north of Pittsburgh and 90 miles south of Erie. The district encompasses 25 square miles, which includes both Shenango Township and South New Castle Borough. The district operates two buildings positioned on an attractive 21-acre campus. Shenango educates approximately 640 students in kindergarten through sixth grade at the elementary school and 575 students at the junior-senior high school. Educating a well-rounded student who is prepared for post-secondary life is the primary focus for the Shenango Area School District. Beginning in the primary grades and maintained throughout high school, students enjoy rigorous academic programming, a strong focus on character education and a wealth of extra-curricular opportunities.
