We are looking for someone who is patient, encouraging, and passionate about helping adults gain confidence in GED level reading and social studies.

Position Details Schedule:

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00-8:00 PM We can adjust the class day to Mondays and/or Wednesdays if needed to accommodate your schedule.

Maximum of 20 students

Compensation:

$25/hour (4 hours of teaching per week)

Curriculum & Training:

Provided Responsibilities Teach foundational and GED-level language arts and social studies skills with an emphasis on reading comprehension and US civics Support adult learners of varying skill levels and backgrounds Use provided curriculum and instructional materials Track attendance and support student progress Communicate with program staff as needed Preferred Qualifications High school teaching experience (preferred but not required ) Comfort teaching GED-level language arts and social studies content Strong communication and classroom management skills Passion for working with adult learners and supporting their educational goals To Apply Please submit: Current resume Brief statement of interest (optional)
