Job Description

Job Summary Duties:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in subject area.
  • Create a positive learning environment that promotes student engagement and academic growth.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback on assignments, tests, and projects.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and instructional strategies.
  • Utilize technology and other resources to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
  • Support students with special education needs by collaborating with special education staff.
  • Manage student behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques and appropriate disciplinary measures when necessary.
  • Participate in parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school-related activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in History, Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid teaching certification or license in the relevant subject area(s) would be nice.
  • Knowledge of educational theories, teaching methods, and best practices.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom environment and engage students in learning.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
