Assignment:

Craig County High School The Craig County School Board in Virginia is now accepting applications for a high history/school social studies teaching position available within our division for the 2026•2027 school year.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

To develop and implement an instructional program that will effectively provide the best possible education for each student

QUALIFICATIONS

Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher's License with appropriate endorsement to teach history at the high school level Have experience in curriculum development and developing lesson plans Have experience and expertise in using technology in education Have experience or working familiarity with Google Drive for instruction, collaboration and course work Have effective written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with parents and families

Salary:

2026•2027 Teacher salary scale with benefits
