Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Christian Middle & High School Bible Teacher & Chapel Director to inspire students with a vibrant faith-based education. This role combines the responsibilities of delivering engaging biblical instruction, fostering spiritual growth, and leading chapel services that cultivate a sense of community and worship. The ideal candidate will bring a dynamic teaching style, strong organizational skills, and a heartfelt commitment to nurturing students' spiritual and academic development in a supportive Christian environment. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive Bible curricula aligned with Christian principles and educational standards, incorporating curriculum development best practices. Lead engaging chapel services that encourage worship, reflection, and community participation while managing all logistical aspects of weekly gatherings. Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management techniques that promote respect, discipline, and active learning. Mentor and support students academically and spiritually, providing guidance that nurtures their faith journey and personal growth. Design lesson plans that integrate biblical teachings with creative writing, literacy education, and relevant learning technology tools to enhance student engagement. Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and ongoing feedback; adapt instructional strategies accordingly. Collaborate with faculty and staff to coordinate school-wide spiritual activities, special events, and service projects that reinforce Christian values. Skills Strong knowledge of Scripture, theology, and biblical principles with the ability to communicate them effectively to middle and high school students. Proficiency in curriculum development, instructional design, and lesson planning tailored for diverse learning styles including special education needs. Excellent communication skills for mentoring students, collaborating with colleagues, and engaging parents in student spiritual growth. Demonstrated classroom management skills to create an organized, respectful learning environment conducive to spiritual exploration. Experience with higher education teaching methods, literacy education techniques, standardized testing procedures, and research-based instructional practices. Familiarity with learning technology platforms, and creative writing tools to enrich classroom experiences. Ability to oversee chapel logistics efficiently while inspiring students through dynamic leadership in worship settings. This role is ideal for candidates who are enthusiastic about integrating faith into education while fostering an inclusive community rooted in Christian values. We welcome applicants with prior private school experience or background in Montessori or other specialized educational approaches who are eager to make a meaningful impact on students' lives through teaching and spiritual leadership. Other duties as assigned May be part-time or full time depending on the candidate.
Pay:
$27,500.00 - $35,000.00 per year
