Continuous Position Description Chaffey College is seeking applicants for the adjunct faculty pool in the Art Department. All applicants are expected to meet the California State Community College Minimum Qualifications for Art instructors (below). Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee employment or an interview.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Master's in art history, history of art and architecture; OR Master's in art with a recorded emphasis or concentration in art history; OR The equivalent; OR Valid lifetime credential that authorizes service as an art history instructor in a California Community College; OR The equivalent; AND Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds in a community college environment.

MEETING MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS DOES NOT ASSURE THE CANDIDATE OF AN INTERVIEW.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

COMPENSATION

Part-time faculty compensation is commensurate with education and District teaching experience according to the lecture, lab, or non-instructional rate schedules.
