Job Description

Position Summary The History Department at Belmont Abbey College invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach courses in the college's core curriculum: History of Western Civilization I and II along with American History I and II. We are primarily seeking faculty to teach seated classes, but there may be future opportunities for online teaching. Job Responsibilities The ideal candidate must understand and embrace the responsibility of supporting the college's Catholic identity and value participation in an academic community dedicated to a robust Catholic and Benedictine educational vision. Qualifications Applicants must have a Master's degree in History or a related field; prior experience in college teaching, seated or online, is preferred.
