Job Description

Open to CHS Applicants Only The College of Humanities and Sciences (CHS) seeks a faculty fellow to work closely with the Associate Deans for Faculty and Academic Affairs during the academic year 2026-27 (August 2026 to August 2027) to support ongoing and develop new special interest projects for the College of Humanities and Sciences.
Eligibility:
Tenured and term faculty at the associate professor and professor rank preferred, but faculty at the assistant professor rank will be considered if they possess credentials and experience. The faculty fellow will work closely with the dean's office and academic departments to support ongoing projects such as CHS Summer Camps and science communication events and to initiate and facilitate additional events showcasing research, teaching, and other opportunities unique to the College of Humanities and Sciences. This scope of work includes collaborating with faculty across disciplines to identify and support special interest project opportunities and working closely with the College communications, development, and finance teams. This fellow will be responsible for engaging with community members and partners when necessary. The faculty fellow will receive a one-course teaching reduction each semester as well as a $4,000 summer stipend.
